A little about me...
I became a Midwife because I wanted to improve the care of women and their families. Seeing the positive impact that excellent Midwifery care has upon the health, happiness and wellbeing of women and their newborns is a privilege I still cherish, some fifteen years on since I was first present at a birth.
I've supported many mums - both those having their first babies, and some more experienced - to feed their lovely new babies. I've seen how much of a challenge this can be amid all the stress of early parenthood and often conflicting feeding advice. I've seen mothers consider stopping breastfeeding when, despite all their best endeavours, they have experienced pain or when it just doesn't seem to be working for them. This may be how you're feeling right now.

This is where I would love to help. I bring a patient and realistic approach to feeding support, along with 16 years' experience in helping mums to find a way to feed their baby that works for them. So, whatever your worries or your frustrations, get in touch to talk through how I can provide the most appropriate support for your unique needs.

I continue to work as a Midwife for the NHS. This means I stay fully up-to-date clinically, while being able to offer a private service where I can dedicate the required time to support you at home during a postnatal visit.

I'm fully insured through Holistic Insurance and offer private consultations as an accredited IBCLC. I can provide evidence of this upon request.

Services
Antenatal Preparation
Preparation is key.
Many clients prefer to meet during their pregnancy, usually between 34 and 38 weeks to prepare for Breastfeeding.
Consultations are usually one to two hours and can be used to discuss expectations, write a feeding plan and to learn how to hand express.
Home Visits
Visits at home in the early days can help to get breastfeeding off to the best start.
A two hour consultation is usually enough time to discuss the birth, current feeding problems and set you back on track.
Video Call Appointment
A video call covers all your questions and queries, just as a home visit would.
